Colin Bell

In 1983, Colin co-founded Wilderness Safaris which grew by innovatively partnering sustainably with local communities.  Through trial and error, he developed a successful blueprint for community owned conservancies across Southern Africa. In 2016 he co-founded Natural Selection - a conservation-driven safari company that's strong in Botswana and Namibia. They are focused on developing lodges and reserves in southern Angola.

Cuatir Private Game Reserve
Often called Cuatir Nature Reserve, this 40,000-hectare protected area is in southeastern Angola's Cuando Cubango province. In conjuction with Stefan van Wyk, Natural Selection hopes to hugely expand this to become Southern Africa's largest private conservation and a beacon for conservation.

Simone Micheletti

Simone co-founded Wild Waters Group in Namibia (inc. Nkasa Lupala, Serondela and Jackalberry camp) and joined forces with Bruno De Leo, Brent Dacomb from Victoria Falls and his brother Alessandro to create Luiana Plains Safaris and open their first property there, Expedition Camp.

Luiana Plains Safaris (LPS)
Committed to proving that sustainable tourism is a viable land-use model for Angola, LPS brings together seasoned industry leaders with deep operational expertise in the Zambezi region to Angola’s Luengue-Luiana National Park. Hear updates on activities, accessability and availability at their amazing new property
