Colin Bell
In 1983, Colin co-founded Wilderness Safaris which grew by innovatively partnering sustainably with local communities. Through trial and error, he developed a successful blueprint for community owned conservancies across Southern Africa. In 2016 he co-founded Natural Selection - a conservation-driven safari company that's strong in Botswana and Namibia. They are focused on developing lodges and reserves in southern Angola.
Cuatir Private Game Reserve
Often called Cuatir Nature Reserve, this 40,000-hectare protected area is in southeastern Angola's Cuando Cubango province. In conjuction with Stefan van Wyk, Natural Selection hopes to hugely expand this to become Southern Africa's largest private conservation and a beacon for conservation.
